Dissecting Plants

Until my Physical Science unit I will be blogging about random things my students are doing in class. For example, today my kids dissected plants. I know what you're thinking. Dissecting plants is a big deal in fourth grade. By doing this it helps the students to see all of the different parts of the plant, specifically the flower. It always amazes me to see how well my student's do with this lab. They are always so careful not to break any of the major flower parts off. As students are completing this lab, they are also completing a lab sheet (created by myself).
